The Outsider's Studio brings WINDOWS ON MAIN where storefront windows in Livingston Manor, New York will be dedicated to providing 24-hour contemporary art viewing for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Windows on Main is strongly committed to the goal of bringing art, made by regional artists, who will each be doing a site specific installation of -"What I did over my Summer Vacation" a travel photographic log of places visited by the artist. This show will run from Saturday, October 10-Sunday, November 29, 2009.
These 8 artists will be participating in the first ever Windows on Main show:
Elizabeth Ennis: Southeast Asia and Peru, Kathy Lambert: Europe, Nancy Lew Lee: New Zealand, Tammy Lew Lee: China, Les Stone: Haiti, Sierra Leone and Liberia, Erica Uhlenbeck: Surinam, and Stacy Wakefield-Forte: Siskyou Mountains, Oregon
Please come to an opening reception at Hamish and Henry Booksellers at 34 Main St., in Livingston Manor, New York from 4:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, October 10th. Stroll down the sidewalks of Livingston Manor to view all site specific installations then stop into Hamish and Henry for beverages and snacks.
